JMI invited application for recruitment to Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and Field Assistant (FA) post.
The candidates eligible for the post can apply through prescribed format on or before 14 February 2015.

Total Number of the Posts: 2 posts
1. Junior Research Fellow (JRF): one post
2. Field Assistant (FA): one post
Pay Scale
For JRF: Rs. 14000 per month + HRA @30 %
For FA: Rs. 8000 per month (Fixed) and as per the university circulars and rules amendments as per the Govt. Rules.
Eligibility Criteria
For JRF: M.A./ M.Sc.( Geography) with Advanced/ PG Diploma in Remote Sensing and GIS Applications, M.Sc./ M.Tech. in Geo- informatics, M.Sc.
(Remote Sensing and GIS) and Knowledge of Differential GPS.
For FA: M.A./ M.Sc. (Geography)/ B.A./ B.Sc. ( Geography) with PG Diploma in Remote Sensing and GIS and One year experience in land survey

For Assistant Professor Post- The eligible candidates for the post of assistant professor will be paid a remuneration of Rs.15600-39100 with Annual GP Rs.6000

Education Criteria:
Candidates applying for the teaching posts must possess Phd or Masters Degree are eligible.
Candidates applying for the non teaching posts must possess Bachelor’s degree can apply .
